Who can join judo classes?

Our classes are for kids (ages 5-12), teens (13-18), and adults of all skill levels. Beginners are always welcome!

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes! We offer a free introductory week for all new students.

When are your classes?

  • Kids & Families: Tuesday/Thursday, 5 PM - 6 PM
  • Adults: Tuesday, Thursday, 6 PM - 7:30 PM
  • Open Mat (All Ages): Sunday, time fluctuates

What do kids learn in judo classes?

Kids under 13 focus on throws, pins, and falling safely. They do not practice submission holds like chokes or joint locks.

What is Open Mat?

Open Mat is an informal practice session where students can review techniques and spar at their own pace.

Are there discounts for new members?

Yes! New members get 50% off a gi with their first payment when signing up for auto-pay.

How can I manage my membership?

Memberships can be managed online via our Gymdesk platform.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes! Private lessons with a certified instructor are available for -0/hour. Bring one friend or your household for free, or add extra participants for /person

Are there tournaments or events?

Yes, we host and attend tournaments like the Show Me State Games (July 19, 2025) and others. Check event details on our website or calendar.

Is judo safe?

Yes, safety is our priority. We follow USA Judo safety standards and insurance policies.

Do I need a USA Judo membership?

Yes, all members are required to have an active USA Judo membership.

What should I bring to my first class?

Comfortable workout clothes. We’ll provide a gi for your first class if needed.
